Our grass field is 110 metres by 130 metres and can accommodate most model sizes.

The committee and our members work hard to continually improve the facilities, which now include:

• Secure electronic gate vehicle access
• Large car park close to the patch
• Modern clubhouse with mains power, heating, kettle, refreshments, microwave, and comfortable seating
• Outdoor shelters for shade and cover
• Model stands with large model restraints
• Tables with 12-volt and 240-volt power for battery charging
• Plenty of chairs for relaxing
• Flushing toilet with hand-wash basin
• Six live webcams to see what’s happening
• Real-time wind monitoring
• Free summer BBQs for members

Anyone is welcome to visit our flying field to view our facilities, watch some flying, and chat with our members. Such visits are best made during the week or on Saturday mornings, however access to the site is via a restricted electronic gate.

If you want to visit us, please email phoenixmfc.herts@gmail.com to make arrangements.
